Last fall, we announced that our multi-jurisdictional Transportation Collaborative partnership framework helped TDOT secure a competitive National Economic Partnership grant (NEP) from the Federal Highway Administration on behalf of the greater Chattanooga region, one of 4 areas in the country to be selected.
Since then, we’ve pushed the pedal to the metal, facilitating regular meetings of our Freight Mobility Coalition to research problem areas and identify policy and project opportunities that would solve truck parking challenges along our interstate corridors and freight movement patterns in the tri-state region.
