Marion County Chamber of Commerce Sets Goal to Help Small Businesses in Marion County
If you are a small business owner in Marion County, defined as employing less than ten (10) employees, and can verify that you could benefit from a $1,000 grant due to hardship incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, please contact the chamber office via email at info@marioncountychamber.com. Please include in your email answers to the following questions:
Are you currently a licensed Marion County business employing less than 10 persons?
What is the name of your business and what do you do?
How long have you been in business?
How has COVID-19 affected your business?
Have you closed temporarily?
Have you modified the way you do business because of the pandemic?
Do you plan to return to business as usual when the quarantine is lifted?
Why do you need grant money and what will the money be used for? (be specific - must be for a basic and verified need.)
Have you applied for any federal assistance as a result of the pandemic? Have you been approved? What is the amount approved? Have you received it?
Application deadline is close of business on Friday, May 15, 2020. Please know that the number of grants approved is contingent upon the amount of money raised for the grant program.
